How to start?

You have never play World of Warcraft? You don’t know how to join? You don’t know how and where to download patches? Continue according these instructions and we should see you in game today.

• Downloading and installation

  If you haven’t installed your client you must download it from internet first. For fast downloading and installing click HERE. Run downloaded file and choose World Of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.

  After finishing downloading and instalation, client will start downloading patches.

  ---

• Patching

  After you finish instaling expansion Wrath of the Lich King, you will see Launcher of game. This program will automatically download necessary updates and launch needed instalations. Downloader shows you version which is downloaded.

  Warning! You have to interrupt this process after downloading patch 3.3.5.12340.

  If you don’t do that and install newer patch than we have on server you will not be able to play.

  When Launcher starts to download newer patch and you don’t want to disable downloading everytime, you can launch game using Wow.exe which is in game directory. Click on desktop icon by right mouse button, choose Properties and in box Target change Launcher.exe to Wow.exe.

• Realmlist change

  This step is very important, because game will show you that you cannot log in even thought you entered correct user name and password.

  Open in text editor file"%wow_directory%\Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf" or "%wow_directory%\Data\enGB\realmlist.wtf".

  Instead %wow_directory% you must choose path which you used during game instalation in point 1. In directory Data you can have also other localization, it depends on used version.

  Delete the content of this file a insert this: set realmlist realmlist.prophetslair.net

  After each patch will this file get back to original form. There is needed to do it after each patch before you start to find Gamemaster’s and Administrator’s help.

• Registration

  Registration of your account you can do HERE. After successful registration you must activation your account. Activation key can be found in the mail. Registration and playing on our server is free.

  ---

• Launching the game

  After launching game you can verify your steps on logging screen. In leftdown corner is your game version. You should have there 3.3.5.12340. When version is correct, congratulations, you can log in to the game. Fill your account name and password which you entered during registration. In server list choose Prophet's Lair PVP(classic style) or Prophet's Lair BG PVP realm(instant 80) and you're ready to play.
